At the age of only 22 "Fice Musaveni" is creating quite a stir in the underground music scene... "My music bridges the gap between Back-pack rappers and Gangster rappers" says Fice. All Fice Musaveni needs is a foundation... A platform where his music will be heard by the masses for him to become an instant success. A laid back country boy who thrives on adversity; always moving forward, he reminds himself to remain focused. Fice always works hard for what he believes in and never stops until his goals are accomplished. He recently released his first mixtape entitled "Trapped Vol 1", In which he walks you through the trials and tribulations of a young man's life. "Trapped Vol 1" includes inspirational tracks such as "I gotta make it" and "What goes around" then he takes it back to the streets with the anthem "Real Nigga". "I remember the first time I ever wrote a rap" says Fice, "I was listening to Keith Murrays "The most beautiful thing in this world" and I figured I could do that." Although he was only in the 5th grade, It was then Fice decided he was going to be an MC. As years progressed so did his talent, by the age of 15 he was already in the studio recording what he called "Inspirational Gangster Musik". During his senior year Fice had his fist performance at his high school talent show. The feeling of classmates/fans chanting his name was unforgetable, explained Fice. One show lead to the beginning of something remarkable his confidence grew even stronger after a freestyle performance at a local party for the late Memphis TN radio personality HYPO on the mic. Despite pressure from his mom to pursue a college degree he continued to make music. "College wasn't paying any bills so I had to hustle to eat", says Fice. When asked "Why didn't he get a 9 to 5"? He replies "Music is my job and it's also something I love to do". Since a majority of Hip Hop fans miss meaningful music "Trapped Vol 1" takes it back to the roots when music mattered. All tracks were engineered and arranged by Fice himself who uses pro-tools in his home recording studio. Currently Fice is working with an R&B artist by the name of Lena to prepare her album for a late 2009 release.
