Hello,im flashnashrocks,im a drummer/singer(better drummer than singer...LOL) Ive been playing in different bar bands and jam bands,here in the ozarks of Missouri,played in bands that always broke up or never went anywhere.Playing music is my passion,i would love to play drums for a living with talented musicans,that would appreciate my backbeat,flawless timing,driving beats style of drums i play,im not fast,but i play backbeat not just on the snare drum(like most drummers do)But i play backbeat on the whole set.Since i play this way,i can play such heavey backbeat,that the snare stands alone in the mix.I play with the butt end of my sticks on the snare(my left hand)This makes a thunderous pop on the snare.Since i am a unique backbeat drummer people will dance all night to my drums,this makes a difference!Im not getting any younger(Im 47) Once i learn songs i will play them basically the same way everytime,The band can make mistakes and i hold it together,im the glue,im in the driving seat.Im also very adaptable at ending songs(that the artists faded out in recordings)The songs i put on here are just homemade recordings,live,raw,1st takes,one track,basementrecordings done with a fostex board with my computer,me singing lead vocals and playing drums live with my jam band 'The Puddle Pirates" I know these recordings are crude,not professional,but i wanted people to hear me play drums and sing.Im not a very good lead singer,but i have a loud voice that cuts through the mix,and i can play drums and sing vocals on anything you throw at me,if ive heard it before and know the songs.I have played in front of thousands of people once,so i got that taste once,i would love to do it again!So im looking for a job,playing drums on the road,in bars or big stages,if you need a good drummer,that plays with a driving backbeat with perfect timing,im the guy for you!I am ready to play drums for a living! I will put all my things in storage and travel anywhere as long as i can make a good living doing it!I can sit and play for hours,i can sit in with talented musicians and most people in the crowd can hardly even tell we have never played together! So listen to my homemade basement recordings,im not trying to sell myself as a singer,but a drummer that is very unique in my own style!I can play bass drum and lead with either foot(i play on a double pedal and play bass drum with my left foot with my heel,while i hold the high hat down with my toes)Well hire me!Im ready to play drums for a living!Just contact me at drummer1@fidnet.com
