Freddie Cosmo is a singer/dance from Phildelphia, PA. Growing up in 'North Philly' he studied classical piano at the prestigious Settlement Music School and musical theatre at the legendary North Philly staple New Freedom Theatre. Cosmo went on to study Music Business and Entertainment at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fl. He released his first full length album entitled "Les Is More" in 2008 with the University of Miami's very own Cane Records under the stage name 'Les' while still enrolled as full time student. After his tenure, Cosmo chose a more traditional route filling a position as marketing assistant for a small internet radio station and later the Director of Public Relations with a private company. But the universe had other plans. So when all that went to hell, Freddie returned to his music roots performing in South Beach's most decadent venues including Ocean's 10, The Florida Room at the Delano Hotel and Ft. Lauderdale's Blue Martini. Upon his arrival in New York City, Cosmo appeared in the independent film "Welcome To Harlem" as a back-up dancer and local dance competitions. In the summer of 2011 performed daily at Six Flags America right outside of Washington, D.C. Cosmo's wide array of musical influences, which include Usher, Prince, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams and classical pianists J.S. Bach and Claude Debussy have helped him to cultivate a unique style of artistry and performance. Cosmo comments, "I think that we're in a time where pop music could stand to be a little more progressive." Cosmo will continue to perform locally in the New York City/Tri-county area and hopes to combine his love of pop, electronic and classical music into a full scale entertainment experience for fans.
