"Priding themselves on bringing together two genres that have previous only flirted in their relationship together, GhostHouse’s rock and hip hop influences have translated well in today’s current craving for musical experimentation." -Aylin Zafar, URB.com Ghosthouse is an ElectroRockHop group from the Great Lakes glacial basin. Their first session on the chaise lounge Group Therapy plays out like an episode of the Jerry Springer Show: songs “Samuel L Jackson” & “Get Down” warrant a bar of Ivory soap in the mouth while “Lights Low” fuels the onstage fisticuffs. One of the original 4 members, Emcee/engineer/producer extraordinaire M.O, moved back to the 520 to form People from the Sun after Group Therapy wrapped up. Ghosthouse, much like a hydra, sprouted two heads from one gangly neck stump after his departure and the tenants of this house now include: A.D.D, Chuck New, Jimmy Con, Herf Yamaya and Tim Yamaya. Jimmy Con has an obsessive-compulsive Facebook status updating disorder (and is responsible for the swine flu epedimic,), the Yamaya brothers are secretly in light saber training with the first YouTube sensation, Chuck is a sexy robot with the soul of Curtis Mayfield, and A.D.D. started a riot at the funplex with Fred Scnieder. The second EP Default, is a recipe as follows; add influences from the past three decades, a hint of electro, one raw egg, and cover it in a slice of funky. Set blender to 120 BPM then press puree. The outcome is a sound that will change your life forever, like hearing your parents mating.
