Crossova Records Present: Girlz Talk Bachata has been around for over 30 years now, its been know as the soul of R&B in Spanish. It didn’t get recognized until the early 90’s with legends such as Antony Santos, Luis Vargas, Frank Reyes, and many others. Their style of music made guys think about their break up with their girls, over a drink at the bars with their best friend. Now in days the Bachata Music has expanded its horizons by generating more than 5 million albums sold combined with the new generations of Bachata groups and singers, plus its still growing with more and more fans learning about the culture and enjoying the new sound of Bachata Music. Aventura known as the Kings of Bachata are making a bigger impact in the music by selling out concerts, and arenas around the world. People are calling them the Beatles of the Spanish industry. Selling out Madison Square Garden at this day in era is not easy, but that’s no problem for K.O.B. selling out four upcoming shows early this year. Judy Santos And Marlyn Jimenez came from the new generation of Bachata Music. Judy started her career with Aventura, helping them develop the sound that will soon change the music of Bachata forever. In the process of helping Aventura, Judy helped the group make history by having the #1 Single coming from the bachata world on the Billboard Charts. The song Obsesion sold 1.5 million copies in sales and lasted more than 52 weeks on # 1 on the latin Billboard charts. Following the success of “Obsesion” Judy collaborated with Aventura again and helped Aventura with their second and third # 1 single’s “Angelito” and “La Guerra”. Marlyn Jimenez took another approach in her start in the music business by already coming from the Music back round, Marlyn worked with nothing but the best. In 2005 Marlyn was with a group called “ENVY” which was sign with Mentao Management which represents Toby Love. Marlyn was a shining star in the making with her incredible voice and that sexy Latina look that everyone in the industry was looking for, it help land a opening performances for The Kings of Bachata, Aventura. After the performance is where people really started seeing Marlyn in a different light, Mentao Management wanted to join Marlyn with another female. Mentao made the decision after getting word from one of the members of the Group Envy, who decided to go his own way in the industry. At the moment Judy Santos was shopping her demo where it came across Toby Love, that’s where everything came to light and joined Marlyn and Judy together. It was an idea that hasn’t been done and it officially made the girls the only girl group singing Bachata Music. The Group Girlz Talk got discovered in 2008, signed to Mentao Management, where they learned how to work together and got a taste on what’s in store for the group. Working with nothing but the best SP a star producer in the making took on the project with the girls and is creating nothing but the best music that fits the group Girlz Talk and its making their mark in the Bachata World. With new goals and a new management team, Girlz Talk is not a team to be messing with. Already the Girlz have two hot singles out that are buzzing in the streets of New York and its catching the ears of the Bachata Music World.
