Hailing from the muddy areas surrounding the river Nidelva in the Norwegian wilderness, GOAT THE HEAD are a barbaric four-piece that strip 'raw' of its archaic meaning. Musically brutal, uncouth and coarse in appearance, the Trondheim-based band embodies nature at its worse. Their penchant for keeping it "simple and organic" also reflects in their live shows that are peppered with nudity and primitive rituals. After the release of their debut full length album "SIMIAN SUPREMACY" in late 2007, the heads found them selves in a series of strange adventures: Surviving the vengeful blizzards in the far north of Norway as well as the scorching sun of Texas, they fought furiously in a London boxing ring, roamed the UK and appeared at several festivals, confusing people where ever they went. Lately, Goat the Head have been working with their next album due in 2009.
