Guitar Guitar: a Biography
Four musicians formed Guitar Guitar in September of 2008 after four years together working as The Modern Fighting Vehicles.
Max Hayes, James Knaggs, Jake Stevens and Moses Bogarde are childhood friends, they worked together between September of 2004 and august of 2008 under the name The Modern Fighting Vehicles performed their own material at over 250 live events across the UK including numerous radio appearances, the BBC’s Great Escape Festival and dates from London to Edinburgh.
In January of 2009 they launched a new project; Guitar Guitar after abandoning the old project in favour of a stronger brand and public identity.
Guitar Guitar have been officially active for a matter of months now but already have found themselves involved with numerous bars, venues and clubs in Plymouth, Bristol and Southampton, The Glastonbury talent contest, press across the southwest and a number of musicians, DJs and studio owners.
Guitar Guitar pride themselves above all on their live performances. They have a set that boasts not only dynamic but musical technicality and the all important sing along factor of any successful pop outfit worldwide.
This group of musicians are not only competent and experienced, they are driven, dedicated and the forefront of unsigned UK music.
They are one of the best.
