My name is Dave Taylor. Been playing guitar ever since I first heard the Beatles as a child. I've also been playing drums and bass for as long. Influences early on were always rock/pop, and later, early metal.............................................. These days I've been getting back to a more 'Bluesy" type feel, putting more emphasis on writing and playing music that may touch the listener a little deeper (as opposed to just "showing off" a bunch of fast riffs), with dynamics and honesty...

My name is Dave Taylor. Been playing guitar ever since I first heard the Beatles as a child. I've also been playing drums and bass for as long. Influences early on were always rock/pop, and later, early metal.............................................. These days I've been getting back to a more 'Bluesy" type feel, putting more emphasis on writing and playing music that may touch the listener a little deeper (as opposed to just "showing off" a bunch of fast riffs), with dynamics and honesty, some "soul", if you will. I find myself listening to allot of Hendrix and SRV and re-discovering the tremendous energy and powerful vibe these guys put off! I've also been digging on the Hammond organ/Leslie sound lately. I have a bunch of new stuff that is currently being written and recorded. I'll be posting them as they are completed. I'll be performing all of the instrumentation (except vocals), production, and recording myself.
