After people heard that hey start telling me that I have skill but being me I was just thinking that they we're saying that because their family and friends until the day that I entered a rap off and one of the judges said "Dawg you are not a rapper at all............Your a MC!!!" After I heard that I started to get more focused on my lyrical content and vocab, throwing punch-lines and using metaphors is a real big thing now and thats one thing that I'm trying to perfect, when you listen to my music and when the people finally hear my 3rd album The Main Course they gon hear lines and phrase thats gonna be MYSPACE names and headlines 4real!!!!!!!!!! People say that I'm cocky because I admit I do throw a lot of disses out Sub and Non Sub meaning if I get at you and I want you to think about like "Who is he dissing..............Oh he talking bout me !!!! I will throw a Sub diss at you but if I want you to know it right off the jump I'm tossing a Non-Sub meaning I'm going to say your name and DRAG IT THREW THE MUD!!!!!!! They say I'm cocky and a everything else, I say you have to be that way because really who shoots to be 2nd best!!!!!!! GET AT YA BOY IM 100!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J-Rell bio... YO YO YO...its ya boy J-Rell... well a lil about myself..My name is Jarell Davenport, and I'm from Indianapolis aka "Nap Town"... Im a 20 year old scorpio that loves to be creative and make music...I have been involved in music since as far back as i can remember... i wrote my first song on an instrument at age seven... I have been writing and workin on my vocab and spittin since i was twelve... and some would argue that i could sing since before i could talk... I am to the point where i cant remember the last time somebody (judges,crowds,old, and young) told me i was anything less than great on every level... I enjoy havin fun especially wit my music...what makes me different than most artists (underground or mainstream) is that i like to use my creative edge to connect wit crowds... basically instead of talkin bout money cars and hoes all the time, i talk about pretty much ANYTHING and put the same kind of word play if not better than all the rappers out here that everybody loves...the main thang that makes me different is they are rappers and I would call my self an artist because i create art on every aspect of music that i do..hands down...but enough about me...you'll find all that out soon enough first hand...{Keep yo ears glued}
