Born in the great state of Texas by way of Houston Brent “ i10 “ Jones always had a passion for music. By the age of 9, Brent was introduced to hip hop. Bone Thugs N Harmony, Snoop Dogg, 2 Pac are a few artists had booming in his tape player. Jones had another passion and that would be basketball. His love for basketball never overshadowed his love for music. During his high school years Brent played for the schools basketball team. Also he ventured off into mixing as a Dj, unable to afford turntables he came across Pcdj, a computer software which give you the ability to mix songs virtually. So now he was Dj B-Boy and fostered his skills by creating a mixtape series. A neighborhood friend rapper Ronnie “Lil Ron” Jordan admired the mixtapes and was asked by Brent to lay a freestyle on one of his mixtapes. The Dj B-Boy series created a little buzz around Brent’s high school where he sold his mixtape series. He had plan to have Lil Ron featured on every mixtape he came out with, but do to the incarceration of Lil Ron it didn’t go as plan. Sophomore year in high school Brent “i10” Jones started writing rhymes on his off time in his tablet for fun. He ran cross a former teammate Brandon “Pyro” Tillman who also shared in his same love for music as well. In fact he was making beats and rapping, and was in a group called “Bad Company”. Jones invited Brandon to be featured on one of his Dj B-Boy series and he agreed. As Brent became a bit deeper into basketball his music activities slowly became a hobby and also lost communication with Brandon. Brent never stopped writing rhymes in his tablet but he never made the attempt to record the lyrics. As high school graduation passed on Brent got back in touch with Brandon. Brandon was taking music real serious and Brent informed him that he was writing lyrics and wanted him to check it out. Impressed with one of i10’s verses he wrote Pyro to request if he work with him on some tracks. As years passed by i10 spent sleepless nights working in his home studio perfecting his craft and created a bond with his friend and producer Pyro. I10 plans to make music for not just him but for the people the poor, the ballers but more importantly for the world.
