Idaho, Alaska from Lexington, KY plays lyrically based indie-rock with an emphasis on dynamics. Songs are short stories depicting everything from broken cities to broken hearts, questions without answers, and lullabies. They have been compared to Dinosaur Jr., Pavement, Modest Mouse, and The Weakerthans. With their debut album, "Kissin' With The Devil", out now on CD and iTunes, Idaho, Alaska have made great strides since forming in the spring of 2007. Look for them to be on tour soon.
