Following his run with them he had molded a sound that distinguished him from the rest. After years of grinding and keeping his best foot forward Idris Legacy was able to drop is first solo mixtape “Rookie of the Year” on July 13, 2010. He says “I wanted to touch on all areas of the spectrum to give a complete sound that everyone can identify with. I named the mixtape “Rookie Of The Year” because I feel as though I am the best up and coming lyricist that’s out there not being cocky just confident.” He is working hard to promote is project while already working on his second mixtape.
