Unanimous was created in 2010 by two brothers and consists of threeyoung gifted gentlemen of Decatur and Courtland, Alabama.  Corey “Churchboy” Johnson and Jerry “Jae-Are”Johnson are natives of Decatur, Alabama and started the rap group in 2010.  Corey, 24, is a singer, rapper, songwriter,organ and piano player.  He also servesas the Minister of Music for Solomon Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church inAthens, AL, where Jerry L. Johnson, Sr. is the pastor.  Jerry, 22, is a rapper, bass guitar player, songwriterand drummer.  He serves as lead drummerfor Solomon Temple.  Together, Corey andJerry have a combined eighteen years of experience in music and love what theydo.  Most of all they have a love forJesus Christ and the people which sets them apart.  In 2011, Tyler “TKO” Stanleyjoined Unanimous as the thirdaddition to the group.  Tyler, 22, servesas a member of the United States military and has been rapping since he was achild and is also a songwriter. Together, the creativity, experiences, hard work, and God given talentand gifts of Corey, Jerry, and Tyler has given way to the release of theirdebut album entitled, City Invasion.  The album was released August 19, 2011 andthe group has already written original songs for a second and third album.  Unanimous has performed at the Dominionaire Tour opening up for Canton jones,  Solomon Temple in Athens, AL, Calvary’sElevate Youth Ministry, Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Wheeler Chapel inCourtland, AL and continue to receive invitations across the state ofAlabama.  Their music has begun to changethe lives of those both in and outside of the church community.  The ultimate goal of Unanimous is to spread the message of Jesus Christ and the hope Hebrings.  The group desires to encouragefamilies and individuals; sending a message of faith, hope, love, and peacethroughout the community by working together with the men and women that makeup our community.
