Heat up the musical spirit by savoring the flavor of Danielle Scott. Preparing for the unknown, Danielle's hunger for music began at a young age. Driven by a thirst for books, short stories and writing, her passion took on it's own taste of flavor and mindful world of knowledge. Danielle blended her love for the written word with music through her classical background on piano and voice. Always a step ahead, she added the essence of alto sax, upright bass, and electric bass by age 15. Simultaneously, she began adding the sprinklings of Gospel, R&B, and Hip Hop to her repertoire. Never questioning the path of her mind, Danielle pursued a higher education at Mary Baldwin College at the tender age of 16. The following year, Danielle transferred to the acclaimed Berklee College of Music in Boston to further cultivate her musical brew. Topping it off with graduating in a dual major in Music Production & Engineering, and Music Synthesis with an emphasis on Interactive Media. In November 2006, I've Got Entertainment, an artist development company, scoped Danielle Scott at a Katrina Benefit Concert hosted by Simmons College and Hot 97. CEO and Co-Founder Renee Ochoa was in the audience, and after witnessing the deep-fried soul of "Ghetto Wonderland," she decided to add her to the mix of artistry at I've Got Entertainment. I've Got Entertainment and Danielle Scott Music are sizzling up a new direction for D. Scott & The Family. It is sautéed with good old-fashioned soul, a dope ass beat, tasty musicians and singin' sistahs which gives you the root of the new sound of urban music. "Look out for me and my fam. Lovin Me, Invisible and HipBone...music for the soul." ~D. Scott
