"My mother raised me on music, my father was a big musician also, now its my turn he was the king so that makes me the prince" Jaray got into music at a very young age learning to play every instrument from the piano, to the guitar, to the drums, down to the saxophone etc. Not only does he sing, he writes arranges and produces, winning the National John Lennon songwriting competition, aswell as numerous other awards from the N.N.A.C.P. and other organizations. Jaray also expressed a love for acting, he began to perform and participate in many school functions/plays/musicals; landing a roll in the highschool musical Dreamgirls, playing the roll of CC a struggling songwriter similar to himself.
