Jackson Rosenfeld (Jaxon) was driven by songs and melodies from his earliest years. Jackson started his songwriting journey at the age of seven, playing piano and guitar, singing and composing for physiological relief from his struggle with traditional academics. Musical ideas just seem to generate in his head. A gifted songwriter, Jackson played his original songs live on the radio at the age of thirteen in his first organized band, “Collision Point”, soon thereafter writing his first protest song about the Iraq war entitled, “Mr. President.” As time went on, some collaborators, band members, and critics pressured him to be something that he was not. To fit his music into a box, one genre, one sound, actually whatever was most trendy at the time. Other enthusiastic supporters encouraged Jackson’s decision to focus on the passion and power of his own style. A talented videographer, Jackson also creates music videos for other artists but his primary musical mission remains: to craft songs that made people want to listen to with an obsessive ear. The same obsession he pours into every composition. Jaxon, the singer songwriter from Northern California, exhibits his sound in his first ever solo album.
