"Music for me documents time and emotions. Almost like a soundtrack to your life. When you hear a song on the radio from a few years ago, it always seems to bring you back to what you were doing and feeling during that time. I want to be part of your life soundtrack and make the records that document your experiences". Spoken with confidence by the young singer/songwriter Jayden. His musical journey began in Brooklyn, New York where he was born and got his first taste of the stage taking part in talent shows. His father is a huge music fan and bought new albums every week. He can remember listening to entire albums on repeat until he memorized all the words. When his family relocated to New Jersey, his love for music and performing grew when his parents bought him a karaoke machine. Hours and hours were spent singing along to Boys II Men, Az Yet, Jon B. and Stevie Wonder to name a few. A talented writer, Jayden spent the next few years writing poems and memoirs and worked his way in to songwriting. "I always look back and think it's funny how it wasn't cool to write poetry in school, but as soon as I put those poems over music and made them a song...everyone loved it". With the support of his parents he would go on to persue being a musician as a career. Born Michael Browne, he acquired Jayden as an in-studio alter-ego. "Jayden was who I became when it was time to make music. Jayden was the outspoken, bold, confident, charismatic, successful side of my personality. As my career progressed, I realized I had truly become everything that Jayden represented. At that time it just felt right to change the name". Jayden describes his music as being full spectrum, music that he feels covers the whole spectrum of human experience and emotions. "When people receive my music I don't want it to be associated with a specific mood. I'm human, so I go through the mood changes and ups and downs in life and relationships. I'm young and I like to enjoy my life, and my music reflects all of that, from one extreme to the other". Looks like Jayden has a promising career ahead of him.
