Fresh out of Columbus, Ohio, this gifted Recording Artist, Prince Jay Foe, is the future of this music industry. It started as a general dream and hobby for this talented young man, but manifested into a Hip Hop need, and a street-worthy artist. The name Jay Foe originates from his real name Jaz and means simply: "Lil Jaz, Foe Life.” As Jaz entered into adulthood, he began to go by the name Jay Foe. Just recently, he began to claim the title of Prince Jay Foe, "A Prince of the whole wide world." In his teenage years, Jay Foe started doing freestyle battles at school and in the hood. He had his first taste of the "Lime Light" in 2003 when he joined a freestyle battle at Studio 69, a nightclub in Columbus, Ohio. During the weeks prior to the battle, Jay Foe was given the opportunity to perform on stage at the close of the Saturday night clubbing. A lot of Jay Foe's inspiration came from the untimely murder of his brother, Byron Boyce, a former Artist of Big Daddy Sound Records, known by the stage name of "Nam Dam", which is Mad Man spelled backwards. Jay Foe is determined to pick up where his brother left off, and excel beyond expectation. Prince Jay Foe has recorded numerous hit records, and he has collaborated with numerous Artists in Columbus. Prince Jay Foe is living up to his title and Royal Status. He comes from a royal lineage. J.A.Z, Javeed Al-Hakeem Zeyad, is Arabic for Forever The Wise Prince. He's using his "Street Mentality" and advanced wisdom to motivate change in the communities, starting with a change in thinking. That is a true Prince. "A Prince is supposed to uplift his Kingdom, not destroy it." "I'm not doing what everyone else is doing. I'm doing my own thing. I'm 'Streets', so I'm going always keep it 'Streets'. However, that does not mean I have to praise corruption. I, like most people who have been through 'The Struggle', believe that there is a better way of living. A better way other than leaving the hood.
