Jimmy was discovered playing guitar in front of Jeff Healey's Club in Toronto at age 11 and was invited to the stage that night for the first time by Healey. Since then he has recorded three records been Nominated for a Juno Award and has won the Canadian Independent Music Award for Favourite Blues Artist 2 years in a row. Jimmy has also won The Maple Blues Award as Canada’s Best New Artist.
