I have been writing songs for over 30 years and the one submitted for this contest is my personal favorite. I have been writing songs for over 30 years and the one submitted for this contest is my personal favorite. It tells the story of a father trying to find a way to tell his three young children, that he adores, that he and his mom are getting a divorce and so they won't be seeing him every day any more. I hope that you enjoy listening to this song. Musically speaking, I am a drummer who has enjoyed playing a wide spctrum of music from jazz fusion ( I played with Spyro Gyra back in Buffalo N.Y. in the late 70's when we were a popular band during open mike nights) to rock with bands such as The Vores and The Rave. I still play drums both for pleasure as well as in a band called EyeRock. We play out at least twice a year at venues in New York City @ B.B. Kings and in Las Vegas @ The Flamingo Hotel. My three children from the song are now 12,11 and 9 and are happy and thriving in our home in Arizona. They have been joined by three new siblings who are 5, nearly 3 and 2 making our home very busy and very much a home. I founded a company in 1986, and so next year marks our 25th anniverary which is something that I take great pride in. Thank You for reading my Bio, and enjoy the music.
