About J.P. DeLaire
Authentic Minneapolis Sound. J.P. DeLaire hails from Minneapolis' First Family of Music, The Petersons. He is the nephew of St. Paul and Ricky Peterson. DeLaire has toured and recorded with Prince, Oleta Adams, Richard Marx, Solo, Cherelle and Alexander O'Neal. He learned the nuances of the "Minneapolis Sound" from working as a studio musician with Prince and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Currently, DeLaire tours as keyboardist and saxophonist with Michael Bolton.
J.P. DeLaire's latest CD is "In My Life" and features funk, soul, R&B, hop-hop and jazz. The title track video is a celebration of Barack Obama's victory.
