The things that I rap about are real issues going on in my life. There is a very religious or spiritual aspect about what I do, and I do not curse in my raps. Christianity has to be at the core of what I am doing out here. I am part of a MOVEMENT out here in Hollywood. It is a movement of people freeing themselves through Christ. This is another aspect of my entire image out here; I am free now. The Holy Spirit works through me and it keeps me joyful throughout the day, which means I need to fall on that everyday of my life, and be deep in the word. I need to be able to go and speak to deep pastors and priests in the church and be able to communicate with them on their same level, as far as my knowledge of the bible and what is said where. I basically have to be a priest without necessarily going through the steps of priesthood. Operation STARS is just a microcausm of what I and my team are going to be working with to try and create some other types of changes. I guess what I long to be is a combination character that can relate on many levels. I am an artist and inventor, yet I also am quite aware of all my business ventures and where my money is going, instead of allowing that creative nature to just kind of make me very lazy, and that has been a process in itself anyways. I am a hip-hop MC, but also play instruments and sing like a soul artist, or even blues to rock artist sometimes. I am a performer, in your face and dancing, yet also a writer, thoughtful and contemplative. I can identify with all the stars and the struggles of partying and drugs and women that everyone goes through, yet I try to live completely Christian, although I do fall short sometimes. I am as knowledgeable about the bible as many pastors are, yet I can also go into a University and make jokes that would allow me to relate with the college kids I am speaking with. I am happy all the time in the Lord yet am not unaware or inactive as to the sorrows that the world faces, and I tap into this in my music. I have been chained up before for many years, in the social structure of how "we are supposed to live" yet am now totally free in Christ.
