Junction City got it's start in 2004 and started hitting the club circuit shortly after, mixing in tasteful original music with top 40 radio music. Junction City got it's start in 2004 and started hitting the club circuit shortly after, mixing in tasteful original music with top 40 radio music. During that time Junction City also had a number of top gigs playing all original music. Junction City's most memorable performance was playing a 2 night show at the Gorge in George, WA with "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers", and "The Black Crows". Junction City continued showcasing their original music and had some great gigs opening up for the 70's fame "Bay City Rollers" at the Grays Harbor County fair along with headlining the Grant County fair. Junction City has also landed prime time spots at the Splash Festival, and Opening for touring country artist Tyler Hilten at the "Band Bash Festival". After a long hiatus the band has reformed and is stronger than ever. Junction City looks forward to playing Top 40 radio hits at local clubs under their motto "Where Country Meets Rock". The band is also working on new material for their second original album that scheduled to be released in the summer of 2010.
