Facebook Artist Facebook Twitter Tumblr HNHH Profile Maserati X (Born Xavier Mance on May 16) is a American singer turned rapper. He use to sing in his church and school choir until he grew older and his voice changed then he switched to rapping because he didn’t know how to control his “newly” voice pitch. Singing now, he can sing almost as good J. Holiday, Trey Songz, Young Steff and Mario. He’s the last male in his household to graduate high school and work towards college. Having a very “old” new style of hip-hop, he rap about everything he’s been through, seen and heard, from when he died at birth and came back to life to seeing his fellow Chicagoan, President Obama take office.  He’s a mix of Snoop Dogg’s aura, Jay-Z’s business mind, Kanye’s attitude, T.I.’s style, Swizz Beatz energy, Juelz Santana’s hustle, Fabolous’ delivery, and Wale’s ambitions put together. X is the opposite of what they all went through; Snoop hustled drugs and X hustled the hustlers’ hustle, Hov sold coke and X sold candy in high school (meaning twix, skittles, starburst, etc). He curse when he’s rapping depending on the beat and how he feel that day. He also started his own label Royal World Entertainment, showing people that though he promoted for five years he CAN REALLY RAP! His urge to start doing music came from his former girlfriend in the 7th grade, she heard him singing Musiq Souldchild song LOVE and told him that he was going to do something in music either writing, producing, engineering something that involved music was in his future and since then he took it serious. He went from making parody songs with his older brother about food and being hungry to what we hear today. In 2008 he came in contact with DJ Neptune (the DJ who helped Trey Songz get started) about working together but as excited as X was their plans fell thru because of X’s family issues which made him upset so he use his anger on the mic, releasing a song called “FUCK SHIT.” That following year he got the biggest inspiration to keep going with his music, he got in contact with Drum Squad CEO Drumma Boy. Looking at the Drum Squad roster he seen that there wasn’t any representation of the midwest, mainly Chicago so he swore to himself that he would make enough noise that Drumma Boy would chain him, making him the body out of the midwest on his label. As time went on X became friends and in contact with a lot of important people such as LA Da Boomman [CEO of MMI] & the whole MMI family, DJ Kutt Throat, DJ Black Bill Gates, Young Cash [signed to Nappy Boy & CEO of Win Squad], Roscoe Dash, J. Holiday, Slim Dunkin, DJ Cadillac [Slim Dunkin’s DJ], Smacksilly [Gunplay of TRIPLE C/MMG DJ], Young Dudus [newly signed artist to MMG], Hennessey [Grammy Nominated Producer] and he’s been known to be seen around Crooked I’s COB family. For a well-known artist thats still unknown, he’s in touch with a bunch of people so there’s a future in stored for this young man. He got his nickname “Foreign” from his best friend while attending the 2007 Chicago Auto Show. X was always drawn to the exotic cars that come from across the seas like Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, etc. which inspired his moniker “Maserati X.” Now-a-days he will ask you to refer to him as For3ign [The number 3 represents that he is the third male born in his family, on his mothers side].
