For me, I need to use my voice to help, sing words that come from my soul, perform, and never let the passion in me die. I will try to be aware of my impact on others and find ways to improve the lives of those I love. I will always fight to spread light into a world that at times looks very dark, that's where my phrase "Keep it Burning" came from. That's also the title I have given to my upcoming album. With my art I hope to inspire people to think and take something positive away from it; A hope for a greater future, a love for the life they already have, and just a good feeling when they listen to it. When I moved to L.A. I had nothing (financially) I was flat out broke. I have worked very hard to maintain great relationships with those I work with and know that I have so much work to do. When writing, I draw from a life filled with great happiness and deep pain. I truly understand many of the struggles facing people in this world today. I know what it's like to feel abandoned and to feel unloved. Sometimes the only thing you need is to know that someone understands and has been in your situation, that alone can give comfort.I am truly living the American dream. From rags to- we're working on the riches, but you get the point... I feel so blessed and will continue to work as hard as I can to reach my goals. There is so much to come...
