I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I am a Aries, no children, great personality and outgoing. My stage name is Karisma which was given to me by my brother and then I put meaning to how it defines me as a person. But you can call me Karisma!! Besides perfecting my musick...I love people. I love meeting new people and being a blessing to them. I am a free spirit. I love trying new things, seeing new places, and absorbing my surroundings. I am the all purpose chick you can kick it, and stay humble at all times!! Oh Girl!! Above everything else, I believe in prayer, because it works and changes things!! My favorite color is teal (turquoise). I don't have a favorite artist "per say", I love them all and I find different things in each one of them and try to use it to better myself. Although I listen mostly to R&B, Neyo Soul, Gospel and Rap. I have been singing, rapping and performing since the age of 10. I began writing and arranging songs when I was 14. Although, I must say that I was brought up in Baptist church. I attended 20th Street Elementary School, Sarah A. Scott Middle School, Juneau High School (Milwaukee) and Grenada High my junior year (Grenada MS), graduating from Juneau. When I graduated I went to the United States Marine Corp, in Parris Island, SC. Thereafter, I attended Milwaukee Area Technical College for Accounting and went to Vici Beauty School (Milwaukee) for cosmetology. Karisma, what does it mean? K- is for Karmick, A- is for Aries, R- is for the radiance that shines through, I- is for the imagination yet to come, S- is simply sexy, M- is for the melody God has given me, and A- is for the Adventure I am about to take hold of. I have the Karma and this is my destiny, so ladies and gentlemen I present to you KARISMA. God has blessed me to work with and meet a lot of positive people that has help my career grow as well. In I released a maxi single titled: Karisma "Just Me" and currently working on my album. I have done a host of events such as Comedy Roast with It's Just Jokes Entertainment opening act for Gigalo Jackson (Milwaukee, WI), Midwest Express Tour with Club VIP 2005 Live at THE V.F.W. Post (Terrahue, IN), Opening act for Elephant Man along with Hitway Productions and Game Official Ramada Inn (Oak Creek, WI). I have also sung at the Christmas Tree Lighting for Former Mayor Pratt of Milwaukee 2003 Live on WNOV 860 Radio (Milwaukee, WI), Apollo (Downtown Milwaukee, WI), Apollo-Summerfest (Milwaukee, WI), Cotton Club (Chicago), Riverwest Commons (Milwaukee), 311 Restaurant (Downtown Milwaukee, WI), Live Television Tapings at Miramar Theatre (Milwaukee, WI) with Positive Talent, Roc da Mic Freestyle Battle Round 7 with the M.E.G.A. Muzik Group, LLC hosted by DJ Razor "The Mid-West Mouth" at the Wisconsin African-American Women's Center (Milwaukee, WI), Audition for American Idol "Chicago" 2005 and the interview was aired on Channel Fox 6 News the first day there (Milwaukee, WI) and a host of several other events. My most current works have been mainly networking and writing trying to better my musick all around! I have worked with several of artist on my space and look forward to working with many more individuals so let me know what is good! Let me just take the time out to say RIP to my fellow colleague in the Miltown musick game D SLEEZ! Your talent and talks will be missed! I have also done a lot of musick with a former member of Outkast Dugeon Family 2nd Generation, Infinique who goes by the name Geechy Boi now. Thank you for all the inspiration, not in just musick but life as well. I would love to work with T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Dwele, Drake, Avant, Usher, Jamie Foxx, T.I., Mary J., Keri Hilson, Jasmine Sullivan, Missy, Lil Kim, Da Brat, and a host of others! Sorry, you know your mind goes blank when to try to think! From 2005 until the present I have still been writing and mastering my musick and its concepts. The most recent shows I performed at was January 2009 Ladies First Night hosted by L at Quarters (Milwaukee,WI), and Club Baboo (Green Bay, WI) Sept 2009. As we all know life has no schedule and sometimes situations come about that hinders you temporarily but make you stronger in the long run!! I had a few car accidents that threw me off for a moment. Not to mention 2009, I had spinal surgery due to being hit in a car accident which has resulted with two plates and 4 screws in my neck. Nevertheless God is good and I am blessed! I feel like all the things that I have gone through from 2005-until this point has made me stronger than before and more determine to create musick! My most current event was with BE Entertained Magazine Presents BE Talk Radio Class of '09 - A NEW School of ENT on June 19th one of my smashing songs “My Luv” was aired on internet radio and got a lot of good reviews. Thank you to Editor in Chief Jason “J Write” Dinsmore and his whole staff for the opportunity! I looking forward to the future! Gone from musick never that!! A lot of people may say well if you have gone through so much why are you still determine? Why not I say, because there is so much in life to be thankful for! I may have gone through a lot of things but they didn’t kill me they made me stronger and my situation can be a lot worst. There are some individuals that don’t have their legs, and can’t see among all other things. I am still able to do everything I was able to do and that is a blessing within itself. Kanye, I guess I’ll be joining you with the clearance through the medal detectors! (I would put lol but it ain’t funny, cuz it’s some real shit.) I just want to leave one thing for everyone out there whether you are a model, singer, rapper, actor/actress, or just doing you. Whatever you do make sure you put God first, stay humble and be thankful for what you do have..even if it’s not much! There is always someone w/ worst conditions than you! Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone. When you are blessed it is for you to bless others in some type of way. Never 4get where you came from! Reach for the moon and you will always fall on the stars.
