At the tender age of 6 or 7, her Mother taught her to walk the chord with her left hand, (popularized by Walter Page from the “swing” era) since her hands were too small to play the customary 10ths or octave. Over the years, Kelli has cultivated and perfected her left hand into an truly awesome bassline. With gyrating leads, “Piano Poundin’”; pulse driving rhythm, “Rhythm Rockin’”; & Kelli's magnificent left hand bassline, “Bass Kickin’”, Kelli is the backbone of her band, “the Swing Kings”.
