Kelsey Lee Gross is a Bay Area Native. He began his music career at age fifteen, when he received a bass guitar from his father for Christmas. He played in and out of bands with school mates at the time and eventually joined the Cable Cars, on bass, in August of 2008. It was here that he began producing the Cable Cars' songs; three in total. After the Cable Cars disbanded that December, he formed a band to play a Christmas show at a local church. The band, featuring Lee, now on guitar, and school mate Dane Lamoreaux on vocals, continued on as Pedestrian Wolf for the next year and a half using original material penned by Lee. During a several week hiatus in January 2010, he recorded several songs, including early versions of "She's My Girl" and "Endless Love", on a laptop borrowed from Lamoreaux. Although intended as backing tracks for Pedestrian Wolf, Lee realized that the work came together faster and much more easily while producing tracks alone. After some infighting and another hiatus, Lee left Pedestrian Wolf to fully pursue solo work. Over the course of late 2010 and early 2011, Lee recorded home demo versions of his completed songs. In April, bassist Mitch Beard and drummer Matt Beard were added to the live roster, followed by backing vocalist and keyboardist Heather Raymond in July. In July, after several summer shows, the live band officially went on hiatus when Lee was diagnosed with Cancer. Recovery is still in process, but shows are being planned for winter of early 2012.
