My story isn’t a fairytale. I didn’t grow up in a castle with 20 servants, gold crowns and an overbearing Fairy Godmother. Matter fact, my moniker is “AnomaLy” because there can only be one me! I’m a departure from the average reporter, yet I am still entertaining! I'm a current Texas Southern University college student majoring in Broadcast Journalism who has had the honor of having previous articles I wrote published in VIBE Magazine; moreover, I’ve had the opportunity to interview Solange Knowles, Matt Barnes and Steph Jones for various publications. I've also had the chance to appear on MTV, BET and VH1 because of other opportunities I sought after and conquered. I’m creating a positive name for myself in the entertainment industry and blowing myself up one opportunity at a time. I continuously stay on my grind, and remain positive no matter how many doors are slammed in my face! I'm determined to reach my ultimate dream of being an entertainment reporter, Editor-in-Chief for a prestigious magazine, weekend radio host and also a television correspondent.
