Ken Thompson is a singer/songwriter and recording artist based in Nashville, TN. However, with both of his parents being born and raised in North Carolina, he calls the tar heel state home. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Ken was only a year old when he and his parents moved back to the United States. His father has been a doctor in the US Army for over 25 years, so Ken spent most of his childhood and adolescent years in Hawaii and later Georgia before moving to North Carolina to attend college. Ken began his professional music career back in 2007 after recording a three song demo in his friend's apartment while living in New York City. Now several years later, Ken is about to release his debut studio album entitled "Anticipation of the Moment" and produced by long-time Nashville producer Mr. Spike Jones.
