They have shared the stage with many nationally famous rock acts such as the Outlaws, Molly Hatchet and Danny Gatton. One New York radio personality said “I saw two great shows yesterday: The Who…and Kevin Brennan!” Kevin Brennan began playing music as a misguided teenager in New Jersey after being exposed to Kiss and Led Zeppelin. He inevitably moved to New York City, where he ended up performing alongside luminaries like Debbie Harry, Paul Rodgers and Tom Scholz of Boston. His songwriting prowess has been recognized by The Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Guild of America. The rhythm section (a.k.a. The Kevins ) was founded when Kevin B. met Kevin G. during a hunting expedition in the Pennsylvania woods. While sipping drinks at the end of the day, they bonded over a shared love of cigars and Physical Graffiti and decided to bring lead guitarist “Sweet Pete” Pentillis into the mix. A music “lifer,” Pete’s first professional gig was a six-month stint with Little Richard ( which was also where Jimi Hendrix got started, if you think about it ).
