King Mitus was born in Chicago Il, April 30th 1987. Mitus lived a pretty normal life untile he turned 9 years old. October 31st, 1996 his grandmother Katie Cooper passed away and his life would be changed forever. Once his grandmother passed he would experience year after year of moving, foster homes, and abuse. King Mitus was born in Chicago Il, April 30th 1987. Mitus lived a pretty normal life untile he turned 9 years old. October 31st, 1996 his grandmother Katie Cooper passed away and his life would be changed forever. Once his grandmother passed he would experience year after year of moving, foster homes, and abuse. It was these actions that inspired him to strive success and never settle for less. Mitus has 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Out of 8 siblings he was the first to graduate high school and go on to college. In high school and college he excelled in football, basketball, and baseball. He wanted to play professional football because that was his first love, but he later found a new one. Music!! Mitus has always been a writer but when he found music, and learned how to transform his poems into songs the rest was history. He picked up the pen when he was 15 and never looked back. He recently got a book deal which will be out soon. It is entitled "The Son is Rising." the saga continues.
