Kino’s passion for music became stronger when she heard Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and sang along with the record everyday and all the time which reveled something that shocked her entire family and friends that Kino had a sweet little girl voice when she spoke but as she sings her voice projected across the whole house as if she were a lot older this encouraged her mother to allow her to sing for her friends, strangers in the street anyone that was willing to listen. when Kino turned 10 yrs old she performed in the all stars talent network showcase with a group that was formed by a parent of one of the members that believed in the girls entering the girls in the showcase won them 1st place 2 yrs in a row Kino was a young star in her neighborhood riding around in limos from her shows working with dj red alerts publicist at 10.
At the age of 15 Kino went to an audition for r&b singers and rappers she wasn’t picked that day but one of the judges who use to be an Jr. executive for Motown records for the event had an eye on her and knew she was raw talent and after the the audition he stepped out side with her in told her what he saw and offered her an opportunity to promote herself in a way she wasn’t ever able to before Kino being as dedicated as she was accepted his offer he told her in order to build herself she would have to dismantle herself and rebuild again so Kino and her new manager began to build working her new career That would set Her at a new stand point.
So she got prepared to release her first single “the one you need” produced by Dave hall who has platinum records around the world her single was an absolute hit indie radio stations kept it on rotation online reviews gave her great feedback she then recorded another hit that did very well in the United Kingdom from Dj Pierre feat sylfronia king “destroy this track” which was a dance record that sold over 80,000 units over sea’s. Giving her international status. sylfronia and her manager didn’t have a steady studio she could record in so they built one right there in her living room they put the mixer on the dinning room table in the mic in a closet that was close and began to record again when they was finished she had her first LP “CUPID” Which was released on iTunes, amazon.com, emusic, and more ringtones on Cingular, t-mobile and more her album sold fifty thousand copies in her home town alone. Kino Kiongivi is an inspirational singer for her younger and older crowd. sylfronia Aka Kino wanted to expand her career with another profession TELIVISION the talented singer took magic from her lyrics to her journalism teaming up with Jeffery Morris C.E.O of UTV (URBAN TELIVISION) broadcasted from Tucson Arizona on the CW 11 which is one of the biggest television stations in the United States. Where she traveled to New York back in forth to interview major artist such as TOK, SLIM THUG, SERANI, ANGELI,E40, JAY ROCK, ILLA J, AND much more.
