Amanda Kiss and Scott English met at a party in Nashville during the summer of 2009. Amanda Kiss and Scott English met at a party in Nashville during the summer of 2009. After singing a couple of cover songs, the two were encouraged by former Hootie and the Blowfish manager Rusty Harmon to pursue a career as a duo. As the two rehearsed and wrote together, Scott began to take an extreme liking to Amanda. He always dreamed of having a girlfriend who would share his passion for music. She claimed it would never happen. At the time Scott was sporting a shaggy long-hair look that was not only dated but a major turn-off to Amanda. Having done some time as a hair dresser, Amanda convinced Scott into letting her cut off his love forbidden locks. Let's just say the rest is history. The two have been together as a couple ever since. The first song they ever wrote together came after a mild disagreement when Amanda said the ever popular phrase, "I'm Just Sayn'". Scott thought it'd be a great concept for a couple going through the stages of early love. The group became official Nov. 1st, 2009 with the birth of the male/female country duo, Kissin'English. They continue to perform and write songs together about their journey through music and life. Lookout for their highly anticipated debut release of their aptly titled EP, "Heaven or Hell".
