Watching her father, a young band member himself, and listening to her mother’s four-octave soprano sound, she was awed by their talents that she wanted to follow, with her natural born gift. When asked how were you introduced to music, she stated “I would love to hear my parents sing to each other, and would listen and watch my father sing and write songs.” “I grew up listening to some musical greats as Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Minnie Riperton,Gladys Knight, & so many more”. Kiyana has fought through many obstacles to pursue her dreams, one of which was dealing with the lost of her mother in 1997, which inspired her to continue on her musical path. She has performed & won a number of Local musical events since the age of eight years old. Also has done voiceover work for producers and performed with various Independent Artists.
