Heartfelt lyrics, passionate vocals and moody arrangements are what Kurtis’ music is all about. This eHaysseed hailing from the farm town area of Concord California has emerged onto the Bay Area music scene with his distinctive blend of new country and 80’s hair metal that he likes to call CROCK music. “We all knew he was making a solo album but had no idea it would have such heartfelt lyrics and mixture of country and country rock. In Dead Wait Kurtis ROCKS, but this "WOW".” as stated by a fellow Dead Wait band mate. Kurtis is busy gigging all over the East Bay in his two bands and writing for his next CD. He is hoping to get back into the studio with his friend and producer Bill Bentley by the end of the year. Kurtis has such a passion for music and performing that he currently plays in two cover bands that also perform his solo material during shows. Kurtis gives 110% at every show because he believes the people that come out to the shows deserve the very best of him and he will not disappoint. Being the giver that he is, Kurtis has performed at many charity events bringing joy & help to people who are less fortunate and causes that need a boost through music. He has also donated some of his solo CD’s to be sent to the troops in Iraq hoping to bring a little bit of home to soldiers fighting for our freedoms. Kurtis is working on putting together a Trio to perform his solo CD live in and around the bay area.
