But, when it comes to making music she speaks what’s Real, she very Original, she’s always Cocky, and she is always Keen. Ladi Rock was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut. This rapper has always been very musical, and has always been in love with music. Growing up, she was constantly glued to the stereo because she couldn’t keep her ears away from music. At the age of 9 she watch her two brothers become a part of a hip hop rap group, which inspired her to become who she is today. She then wrote her first rhyme, and rapped her first song which knocked every body of their feet. Ladi Rock has done shows in North Carolina, Baltimore, New Jersey, New York, and her home state, Connecticut. Over the years she has recorded in many studios, and has lots of experience. In February of 2008, Ladi Rock opened up for rap artist Remy Ma. In May of 2008, she took the stage at Sultana’s in Brooklyn, NY and was crowned 1st place winner in which she beat out 25 male rap artist. She also was nominated for best female hip hop artist for the Connecticut Holla Back Video, Music Awards in July 2008. She has a unique east cost flow, and voice that shows nothing but personality, and creativity. Her music is a reflection of her, her surrounding, and how she views the world through her eyes. When the time comes everyone will know the name Ladi Rock, because she’s representing hip hop, and hip hop is representing her.
