Lisa Miller: Guitar + VocalsLisa has been writing, playing and singing her music since she was just a kid. Surrounded by music and musicians all her life it made perfect sense to start performing outside the living room and have her brother Ian come along for the ride. There is nothing like playing and singing with yer family and that's what the Kin are all about. Ian Miller: Lead Guitar + VocalsIan has been playing guitar since he was old enough to hold one. He began performing on stage with his older brother Chris at the age of 12. Starting with the blues, expanding to R&B, Rock, and eventually Punk where he made his mark in bands such as Mule, Apt3G & Poison Idea. Two years ago he joined up with his sister Lisa and jumped full force into to the world of Honky Tonk. With a strong love for Buck Owens (R.I.P. Buckaroo), George Jones and Ray Price, he was a logical and much welcomed addition to the band. His energy on stage is addictive, and the shared vocals between him and his sister are what country is all about.Songwriter Mark Pederson : DrumsMark was adopted into the Kin fold just over a year ago. He has been pounding and banging on something since the day he was born. We're just glad that he actually bangs on real drums now. Jimm Bennett: Bass Guitar + VocalsHe's the only Jimm we know who has two "m"s and he knows how to use 'em. He's our second cousin twice removed - his voice and bass playing keep it all in the family.Doug Jones: Pedal Steel(The Man-O-Steel) – Doug has distinguished himself as one of the most sought after Multi-Instrumentalists in the Northwest, but it's his mastery of the pedal steel guitar that has earned him his nickname… The Man-O-Steel. Doug has appeared and performed with many of the country music greats, such as Bobby Bare and Hank Thompson, as well as opened for the likes of Merle Haggard, Clint Black, Randy Travis, LeAnn Womack and many more. You'll marvel at the tone and emotion Doug wrings out of his 10-pedal, double neck Emmons Steel Guitar, as he blends traditional Texas Swing and Honky Tonk styling to merge with the Nashville West Sound. He has spent over 30 years honing his skill in over 22 states and Canada… truly leaving amazed audiences wanting more. Besides being an amazing musician, Doug wants everyone to know he'll never pass-up an offer to go golfing and, “I stop for cross-word puzzle”. Don't miss this guy… He's amazing!! Russ Blake: Pedal SteelRuss is a steel guitar whiz who also plays the 6 stringer with his band from Southern California-The Lucky Stars.Lucky for us, he has made his home here in the NWand hooked up with "The Kin" for some honky tonkin' !
