Seattle, WA (June 3, 2010) – Seattle’s own rising entertainer L-Jay makes his long awaited return to the scene with his new album and label imprint, Jakoevi Entertainment. The rising R&B star released his anticipated studio album, Down 4 Me, on March 12, 2010. Throughout each record on the forthcoming release, L-Jay showcases his growth as an artist and entertainer. After releasing 3 solo EP’s and being a featured artist on the Grimey Mixtape, all of which was appreciated by his fan’s, L-Jay is back with an updated sound and truly consistent album that proves he has grown. The soon to be triple threat known for his vocal and dancing abilities, wrote and produced all of the songs on Down 4 Me. Producers who collaborated on the album include Swaysides Finest and Evan Jackson; along with guest appearances by Sez Batters and Fame Rilla. Upon the release of the Down 4 Me album, L-Jay embarked on his first radio promotion spree, on local stations such as 1150am KKNW and Power 101. L-Jay is very familiar with the stage, performing in numerous venues such as, The Chop Suey and El Corazon to name a few. He also opened for Kiki Corona Fashion and Jewels Fashion at Numerous fashion events as a headliner. L-Jay also became a national artist over this past summer of 2008, performing in Baltimore, Maryland at the Baltimore convention center for the 2nd annual making the right moves conference. L-Jay has reached a higher level in his career since leaving the former R&B male group DV3 in late 2005. June 2, 2006 was his first solo appearance at the Marysville branch YMCA. Conversation was his hit single drawing over 200 people to see his dazzling performance. Also show casing his talent for the Snohomish County branch NAACP, Shoreline Community College, Marysville High School, The Nubian Jam in Forest Park, Tulalip’s Boys and Girls Club and the Bite of Seattle, One of the biggest events in Seattle yearly.
