Who are some of the best Southern Rap Duos of all time? UGK, Outkast, 8Ball & MJG, Juicy J & DJ Paul, Youngbloodz, Ying Yang Twins, Big Tymers and Field Mobb Should be at the top of anyones list, but in the world of Hip Hop and in any genre of music in general theres always room for one more. L.O.D.P which stands for "Life Of Da Party" consist of two up and coming young artist who both hale from the Eastside of Atlanta. Big Boi Dre from Decatur and Bigg Lanni from Stone Mountain who both started as solo artist met through mutual friends while attending Dekalb Technincal College in Clarkston GA in the fall of 2007. After realizing they both shared the same passion for music they often rapped at school even at Bus Stops just for fun. Later they decided to make some moves as a unit. Shortly after forming the group they recorded their first single "Eastside Playas Pledge" which was an ode to their East Atlanta residence that also featured Dre's younger relative 2Kool. Even though Life as a group has been short lived both members share a chemistry and an understanding of what makes them hot. They both bring something different to the table weather its Dre's Subject Matter Diversitivity, Lanni's Vast Vocabulary, or both of their raw unteachable talent, when it all comes together they both have an unpresidented style that can't be duplicated. They have recently added two new members to the group, CJ who is from New York who also brings a more diverse up north swagger to the mix and they have re-added 2kool a.k.a prospect. L.O.D.P. is a force thats gaurenteed to make moves in the near future and with the drive, talent, and energy that the group possess theres no where else for them to go except for to the top.
