Lou Pizzi was born in Milan, Italy and brought up near Portofino in Liguria, Italy for the early part of his life. As a teenager he played football for AC Milan Juniors, which meant returning to live in Milan. Leaving football for his other love, art, he returned to Liguria, to be near the sea - the inspiration and poetry for his paintings and music.
