Founded in the late summer of 2004 by bassist/vocals Luis Hernandez and drummer Josh Colvin. Back then known as Romero, the band had a speed metal direction under the influence of original lead guitarist Kevin Zorn. Later on the band added current guitarist/vocals Koby Shaw as lead vocals. After a lenghty hiatus, and return of original vocalist Jamie Parker on guitars the band was resurrected under the name of Black Halo and new artistic direction.
