Luckyhorse formed in 2007 around the making of the album '13 Hands none ' And consist primarily of simon baker and keith osborne. We are based on the south coast of the uk. Our music has been described as ethereal psyche-country swamp pop. We are influenced by all kinds of roots music but at the same time are interested in experimenting to try to create songs that have a more contemporary vibe, and whilst they may often have a nod to this that or the other, hopefully they also offer something...

Our music has been described as ethereal psyche-country swamp pop. We are influenced by all kinds of roots music but at the same time are interested in experimenting to try to create songs that have a more contemporary vibe, and whilst they may often have a nod to this that or the other, hopefully they also offer something quite unique both sonically and in terms of the lyrics and ideas behind them. There isn't really a category here on ourstage that we fit snugly into so we'll probably go with 'alt country americana' since it's the closest thing. We spent a lot of 2008 gigging, but the plan is to make another album this year allbeing well and all things permitting.
