In early 2007, six friends from different parts of the country met in Flagstaff, Arizona via a common employer and started holding open jams. Over the next few months, increased effort, organization and structure slowly birthed LUMINARIA. LUMINARIA had their debut show in February of 2008 and have been playing regularly since then. Over the next few months, increased effort, organization and structure slowly birthed LUMINARIA. LUMINARIA had their debut show in February of 2008 and have been playing regularly since then. LUMINARIA get their inspiration from a wide range of artists from Ryan Adams to Radiohead and end up sounding like a functional mix of folk, alt-country and good old rock ‘n roll. They released their first five song EP "Kiss Me, Kill Me" in January of 2009
