Grimy, fearless, and absolutely the truth, Lux ‘The Bad Guy’, born in this crooked world as Oscar O’Neal Strain was raised in a small town called Mexia TX. Raised by a single mother and a house full of sisters, The Bad Guy had to keep his back against the wall and his nose to the streets. His childhood was cut short when he found out that he was about to become a father at the age of 14. Lux was forced to face his predators and walk into the shadows of death. Raised on the 12 (the 1200 block of the eastside of Mexia, TX) and the only male in the litter, Lux knew his only chance to beat the odds was to leave Mexia. So he went into the Navy. After spending four years serving his country, Oscar learned a trade that he hoped would keep him away from the jaws of the streets and help take care of his off spring. Everything seemed to be going his way until June 21, 2000. The day his first cousin and best friend (Raylon Anglin) passed away. The Bad Guy went down, he turned his back on the streets and questioned his faith. One day he found himself humming. Lux couldn’t hold his anger in any longer. Unknowingly the birth of the beast was about to be unleashed. He started hitting the weights and grew into an outstanding 250-pound beast. His humming transformed into aggressive, painful lyrics. He soon hooked up with a childhood friend by the name of Raymond Morgan (Nino) and formed a small record company called Black Records Inc. Jamez Brooks (Jay) another close friend worked with Lux to tunnel all his pain into the microphone. The Bad Guy was born!.. Lux started doing local shows, pushing mix tapes out of his trunk. He soon became the general with two loyal soldiers Raymond and Jamez, suddenly P.E. Entertainment and Black Records Inc was on the raise. They soon ran into a local but known all over the world radio DJ, Throwdown Sam. Under the helpful hand of Throwdown Sam, The Bad Guy has become one of Dallas TX most anticipated newcomers since DSR.
