Big Jerks (Original Lineup)

Big Jerks started in Mark Baertschi's garage, 1617 18th street Manhattan Beach, Ca. in the Summer of 79. We were brought together by Fred Preach who was with us briefly at the beginning on guitar! We played the LA New Wave club scene and our one big claim to fame was we opened for Oingo Boingo, 2 shows at Madame Wong's West in Santa Monica. The club scene grew tiresome and we became involved with Improvised jamming....the rest is history
