Originally from the small town of Traverse City, MI, Mary moved to Boston in 2003 to attend Berklee College of Music, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Songwriting. Mary's music is about all kinds of love: between lovers, between friends, between family members, between God and people. She was recently named as a finalist in the February 2008 Lo-Budget Love Music Competition (sponsored by Innovation Entertainment Group: http://www.innovationentertainment.com/lbl/index.html for more info) for her song "Don't Touch", and as a semi-finalist for the same song in the 2008 UK Songwriting Contest (www.songwritingcontest.co.uk). Eventually she'd like to sign with an established independent label somewhere in the Northeast.
