Name: Reginald Orlando Massey II Born:March 10, 1986 in Fort Polk, LA Genre: Hip Hop  The year 2008 was like yin and yang for the North Carolina Rapper MasseyTheTruth.  He decided to seperate from the Military (AirForce) to be able set his own future, to be in control of his own life.  He appreciates that he had to chance to serve his country but it was time to move on to the next chapter.  In July of 08' he moved down to Orlando, FL to start a new beginning.  He stayed with one of his old military friends that had separated before him.  He stayed there for one month then moved into his own apt.  He was struggling to survive because the job market at the time was horrible.  Eventually he had to move out of his apt. and was forced to live in his car, he continued working.  For a two month period he lived in his car and would shower at the 24hr gym.  This extra time gave him time to think about what he really wanted.  He was into music since highschool, a member of Expressway Ent.  While living in Florida he recorded his first song "Phresh."  The song came out great, but he did not enjoy the "rushed" atmosphere.  He found someone selling a studio, everything he needed for 500.  He purchased the studio and moved back to DC, where he was stationed before he left.  He started a new job and got back on his feet.  At his new job he ran across J-Ra, a hip hop artist in DC.  They eventually started their own group "2uncool" in 2009.  They have performed multiple times in NewYork's M.E.A.N.Y Fest and Numerous times in the D.M.V (DC, Maryland and Virginia).  They are now signed to Tate Music Group, an Indie label based out of Oklahoma.  There album will be available in stores this summer.  MasseyTheTruth stated "I am going to live my dream, no matter who likes it or not."
