Michael Moon and Coyo reigning from the hip-hop origin of NYC are two talented up and coming artists from the streets of Brooklyn. Michael Moon and Coyo is what many would consider creative, versatile, fresh, new and real for East Coast Hip-Hop music and rap as of today. In an era where artists are forgetting and are afraid to be creative, different are themselves Michael Moon and Coyo is far from that, they bring to the table Creativity and Versatility with self pride and real good music. They both started working with each other in 2004 where Michael Moon at the time was just starting as a producer while Coyo was an artist and a producer working to craft his skills. These two artists were good friends even before realizing that they both share the same passion and love for the music and not knowing that they both share the same goals. Coyo later on then started mentoring Michael Moon as a producer for he was very talented but still new and inexperienced to producing and song writing. Michael Moon and Coyo were working hard day and night, night and day to craft their skills and become something that is great. It was at that time Michael Moon produce for Coyo for the first time, a track name (Wine and Rewind). Still this day this track is talk about and is one of the tracks that’s on their up and coming album ( Everybody Rap: So Get A Job ) from there we continued working together despite the negative response Moon and Coyo was receiving from friends and people within their circle. It was more like they didn’t believe and they didn’t see two very talented artist who really was bringing and creating something old and new. It was then in 2006 Michael Moon became inspired by Coyo and friends to rap and after realizing that it was in his blood to be become an artist he wont his first verse to the track produce by ( Problem Child ) called Easy Listening also on their up and coming album (Everybody Rap: So Get A Job). Michael Moon and Coyo continue working with each other producing constant tracks for each other and writing constant songs together creating something incredible. At that time they did shows together, performing and leaving the crowd wanting more. Inspired by artist such as Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Slick Rick, Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z, Nas, DMX, Big L, Big Pun, Common, Kanye West, OutKast, Lox, Snoop Dogg, Mase and Diddy, LL Cool J, Ja Rule, Eminem, Wu Tang,Special Ed, Busta Rhymes etc. Just to name a few, which then Michael Moon and Coyo decided to create their own production team called M-C Productions. Making Hip Hop, R&B and etc... Beats and becoming a Rap duo calling themselves (M C). At times Michael Moon and Coyo is compare to groups such as OutKast, Method Man and Redman, Wu Tang, Lox etc… and their energetic nonstop flavor and lyrical flows creating something that was long forgotten on the streets of New York City. New York has been in an uproar for the past half decade in search of a new headline artist’s to represent the State and Hip Hop as a whole. These are the guys that we have been waiting for and fans and mainstreamer’s all over are looking for! Amen thank you God for answering my prayers!
