"Hailing from the Macclesfield, Meet The Circle have got to find success with the release of their first E.P, Rock Paper Planes. It blends Chris Bridge's bouncy hooks with poppy synths and grungy guitar to generate a disc overflowing with memorable tunes. With standout tracks like "Glow," and "One More For Luck" there's plenty to make you want to get up and dance!" Fresh Out of the studio and now with plenty of gig experience behind them Meet The Circle( Chris Bridge, Jack Edwards, Rob Wreglesworth and Mike Healey), are still writing new material and trying to expand their sound even further. The band have supported Manchester ska legends Ricker and indie hopefuls Sykes and Pegusus Bridge over the past tour in which many new songs were aired. The band calls on many different influences, looking up to great live acts of recent times, such as Muse and Bloc Party. Even though the studio sound is important, the live show is what Meet The Circle say is their main passion. "As long as we're having a good time and the crowd is having an even better time, then that's all that really matters on the day" (Rob Wreglesworth). This was summed up with a chance to play to the cameras, for a slot on Propeller TV (SKY 195), to be broadcast in mid-November.
